Oh wow do I ever adore this guy. 😍
“In a time of darkness, New York must be the light.” 🔥

Instead of running from trans rights @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social leans into fighting for ALL New Yorkers.

He understands a good campaign tells the story of the place he’s running to represent— and the people in it.

Man sollte sich jeden Tag von neuem Bewusst machen, wie es zur Staatsräson kam, und welchen Zweck sie ursprünglich verfolgte.
Das schrieb ich schon vor einigen Tagen auf, demnächst geht es weiter....

The path for Democrats is very clear: have good ideas, believe in them, state them clearly, stick to them, act decisively in support of these ideas, speak to the young half of the electorate, support other democrats who do these things. Follow Mamdani and Lander's example or fade into nothingness.

For anybody whose lived in NYC, you look at this map by the neighborhoods and think, wow, what a coalition. One big thing: Mamdani's voters, by-and-large, use NYC public transit. Lay the MTA subway over this thing and you'll see a correlation.
Eleven candidates ran in the Democratic primary for mayor, with former Governor Andrew Cuomo and state Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani leading the pack in pre-election polls.

this is the most powerful and cogent argument I’ve read on why not to rank Cuomo. simply: he hates NYC. Read this thread.
As we head to Election Day, for folks who voted early, thank you. I know some folks have not yet made up their minds. I am making an appeal to you.

Please do not rank Cuomo. I have worked with every single one of the candidates for mayor. I will tell you he does not like us.

I remember when I had United Healthcare as a student, and they refused my claim and so I got $30,000 bill for my surgery. I called them everyday for months, spent hundreds of hours on the phone with people obviously paid to deny my claim no matter what. All the paperwork I sent them they "lost".
