Teen Vogue has become a top-tier political journalism authority and doing this the day before election day is just cruel.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.
certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

I know children who are already impacted by the lack of food stamps, who are hungry tonight, unsure what they will eat tomorrow, and I wish great suffering and anguish upon the people who did this to them

one of my most distinct memories from living in a shelter (at age 19) is coming home from a long day of school and manual labor and having nothing to eat but a can of creamed corn, nothing to eat it out of but a mug, and no utensils but a plastic fork

one of the things I love best about Halloween is how there's no designated time to start trick or treating, it's like this tension mounting until the first people trickle out, and then suddenly everyone is out there doing this little ritual to ward off evil spirits
