Chuck Schumer has failed utterly. In any functional organization, a leader who had failed as often and badly as Schumer would have been ousted long ago. If the party is to have a future, it needs to rid itself of the burden of this man’s weak leadership.

Why Is This Man In Charge of Anything?
Chuck Schumer, the feckless Democratic Senate leader, embodies everything about the party that needs to be jettisoned if they are going to be popular and effective.

Brawler rhetoric.

Needs to intern for the NYC mayor this summer, really learn the job.

But might keep his seat if he keeps this up.

Do something or shut up.

Schumer is not a war time consigliere and everyone knows it, especially the republicans.
Last night's so-called deal was a tragically disappointing result for the millions of Americans who are facing higher health care costs next year, and for our efforts to confront this bully of a President. I voted no.

Let's talk about where we go from here. youtu.be/Zc-sUG6myqE?...

Main line that debt peonage!
psh 50 year mortgages are a half measure; real ones want 100 year mortgages that burden all the debtor's genetic descendants and let investors build actual castles off all the interest they'll collect for their outlay
QUINTANILLA: What's more likely -- a $2,000 tariff rebate check or a 50 year mortgage?

HASSETT: They're both really good ideas

Proving that you will cave, even when you have the upper hand, is teaching the republicans to punk you harder next time… and they will.

And Trump is currently doing victory laps.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting
