Vonnegut was similarly a gateway drug for me. He led me to Tom Robbins. And Jitterbug Perfume is perhaps my favorite novel.

Only tells me he doesn’t personally need ACA subsidies or SNAP and that Thanksgiving travel is where he might be personally impacted.
