2026 so far has brought me a car accident where my car was totaled by what seems to be an uninsured driver and a nasty upper respiratory infection that’s had me down flat.

Really hoping things can start looking up soon. 🙃

The response to the ICE killing of Renee Nicole Good is not what the White House was expecting.

Like with their hiding of the Epstein files, part of the fundamental problem they are facing is that the stories the Trump administration has built their movement on are being shown for their emptiness.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.

Some part of me wonders if we can still get Jensen to this point some day. We’ve worn him down a lot over the years. 😂🐺🫃
We have an idea for a sequel...

I recently witnessed my teenager writing a full academic paper… on her phone. I can’t come up with a solid reason why that isn’t okay but that ISNT OKAY.

I really miss my fandom friends here but every time I log in, I scroll for about 30 seconds, internally repeat “JFC” and other profanity at escalating magnitudes inside my brain until I just have to flee.

What the ever loving fuck is this timeline.

This is… incredible. Mamdani’s facial expression here is just *chefs kiss*
Let’s be clear.

@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social got Trump so charmed that Trump posted two photos of the two of them with Franklin Roosevelt’s portrait behind them AND one of just Mamdani and FDR’s portrait.

I feel like the last couple decades of "is representation good or not?" discourse missed more important questions of "how fragile is representation?", "what do we do when multiple industries eliminate it as an intentional move against us?" and "how can we sustain queer artists when shit goes south?"
"According to the report, [...]during the 2024-25 television season, queer characters increased across platforms by 4%, bringing the total to 489. However, the Thursday report found that 41% of those characters will not return." www.thewrap.com/glaad-where-...

NEW: Kim Davis is done. The Supreme Court is not reconsidering Obergefell. What happens now?

There is a reason people were afraid that the Supreme Court would take up case. The reason is the Supreme Court itself. Here's why I'm taking this whole experience seriously.

Sending every queer American a warm hug today. I’d been trying not to think too hard about it, but this one had me scared.

Hopefully we never have to see her smug face on a news story ever again. I feel like we’re owed that.

The ACA made my whole self-employed life possible. For almost ten years, I was able to build a career that actually worked for me AND keep receiving necessary care to address the consequences of childhood medical neglect. And I still deserved better. We all do.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.
