You can tell that Moffat was really riding high on the positive reception of his Dr. Who and first season Sherlock stuff because boy oh boy did he indulge in some of his worst, most embarrassing, writing habits in this with how he wrote Adler.

In The Night of The Hunter when Lillian Gish's character checks with John first to see if Powell is telling the truth when he shows up to the farm and tries to take him. It's the first time anyone in the movie actually listens to John and it's such a big turning point tonally.
This is a favorite question to ask. Favorite little moment of kindness in a movie? I'm thinking of Tim Blake Nelson leaving money on the sill after they steal a pie in O Brother.

I would encourage everyone to watch this short film about an icelandic wrestler monster hunter, Gústi the Strong vs The Merman, immediately: youtu.be/IKXDfYu14Cw?...

Supposedly, Pleasence would frequently try to be eating or fiddling with some other prop while on camera in movies because he figured it would make it harder to cut down his screentime in the edit due to the resulting continuity issues it would cause in his scenes.

I love in the story Mawdryn Undead the companions get separated from the doctor and run into the gross alien bad guy and he just goes "I'm the doctor and I had an accident and regenerated like this" and they have to go along with it for a little bit because maybe that can happen? They don't know!

Oh my God thank you for posting this! I have memories of playing this at an arcade as a kid but could never remember what it was called since it was very tough to search for on Google without getting a million unrelated zombie shooter games.

This adaptation is a radical experimental film in which Woody Harrelson was tranquilized, kidnapped, and dumped onto a farm and secretly filmed for a week. The voice actors for the animals watched the footage and improvised a story in the recording booth based on whatever Woody was up to on screen.
