Merry Christmas to this McDonald's hotcakes pterodactyl transformer I found at my in-laws house.

This goat at the apple orchard I went to today completely tangled himself up in this fence and was just patiently waiting for people to come by and feed him treats

26. Interview with the Vampire

Wrapped up my October horror movies with this last night. Campier than I was expecting at times and it's always fun to see Cruise play a bad guy. A little meandering but fun.

25. Asylum (1972)

Very solid Amicus horror anthology with a good cast and stronger than usual wraparound segment.

24. Shadow of the Vampire

Perhaps the ultimate freaky little weirdo role for Willem Defoe, very fun!

23. The Black Room (1935)

Boris Karloff plays twins, one good and one evil. A little slow paced and predictable once it gets going but he gives a great dual performance that is well worth watching the movie for.

22. Tales of Terror

It's three Poe stories adapted by Richard Matheson, directed by Roger Corman, and starring Vincent Price, Peter Lorre, and Basil Rathbone, it's very good!

21. Ready Or Not

Funny horror-comedy about the perils of marrying into a rich family. Samara Weaving is great.

20. The Night Flier

Underrated and underseen movie about Miguel Ferrer being a shitty guy trying to find a very scary looking vampire. Strong recommend!

19. Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies

Fun, dumb, and lots of Divoff.

18. Horror Express

A spur-of-the-moment rewatch tonight of one of my favorite horror movies. I'll likely keep coming back to this every few years, it's just a good time.

17. The Evil of Frankenstein

The monster looks awful in this and the plot is not very interesting but Cushing still brings it as Frankenstein and gets to yell at people a few times in this one, not bad but the other movies in the series are better.

16. From Beyond

Great goopy gross movie bolstered by a great cast!

15. Magic

Great cast and overall just a really good movie.

14. Carnival of Souls

Eerie movie that has a good mix of both supernatural and psychological horror.

13. Sweet Home

A very good haunted house movie available to watch with English subtitles if you poke around on YouTube.

12. The Bride of Frankenstein

Rewatch, still one of the best sequels ever made. Dr. Pretorius rules.
October 16, 2023 at 3:00 AM
11. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

This is the first F13 movie I've ever seen, pretty fun execution on just about every slasher cliche that the series helped cement in pop culture in the first place. Crispin Glover rules.

10. Nothing but the Night

The ending is fantastic, but it's a little slow to get there.

9. Dracula (1979)

Not great, but a solid Dracula movie that looks pretty good. Langella is great but his 70's hair is a big distraction to his performance at times.
