Good piece. The key point being that if republicans don't lose heavily in the mid terms then the US is headed towards full on fascism.

It's a matter of commonsense that cases should be based on an individual basis. Once again Gender Critical activists demonstrate that they really don't care about protecting anyone, just ensuring maximum harm comes to trans individuals.

Just left an ICE Protest in Portland OR that started at City Hall and marched to the ICE building. Main demand was "revoke" the lease that lets the agency use their building.
Crowd was 500-1000. They gassed massively after about an hour. Had to pull a lot of 16-17 year old girls out of the gas.

1/31: Narrowly avoided being arrested when LAPD officers kettled a small group of protesters, legal observers, and press. I ID'd myself as a journalist & tried to leave but an officer claimed I wasn't exempt from dispersal orders & said I would be detained. Luckily another officer let me leave.
