Son of a bitch freed Rod Blagojevich and is trying to free Larry Hoover but he's worried about Somali Americans.
There’s a shit ton of fraud committed by white people in this country. When does that targeted operation start?!

This, with a side of,"are you surprised?'" No, I'm not. I'm also not okay with it.
While this usually isn't the intent, "no one will ever be held accountable for this" doomerism is an excuse not to try.

There'll be at least some accountability if enough Americans work for it. And this time really is different. Doesn't guarantee the aftermath will be, but it increases the chances.

This is murder. Hegseth thinks he will get away with it because the people around him are more committed to aiding and abetting his crimes than upholding the rule of law. I wouldn't take that bet if I were him, or the people around him. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

To Recap just this week:
•Noem defied court order & deported immigrants
•Hegseth ordered execution of two fishermen
•Netanyahu has killed on avg 2 Palestinians a day since Trump's "ceasefire"
•Witkoff caught coaching Kremlin to undermine Ukraine

The party of "law & order" is proudly pro war crime.

I like how you move past the fact that the shooter was granted asylum under *this* administration as quickly as possible in order to maintain the Trump fiction that this is somehow Biden's fault.

Sulzberger does it again.

This rebuke was largely made possible by the work of rapid responders. EVERYTHING is on tape. You may not be able to stop something in the moment, but you are creating an invaluable record.
What this shows yet again is that DHS's "official version" of events simply shouldn't be believed without verification. In video after video, claims made by DHS officers and DHS itself were shown not to have occurred at all — or to have occurred in a substantially different way than first described.

97.5% of the people Trump arrested in Chicago had no criminal record

100% of the people Trump pardoned for Jan 6 had criminal records

The difference is the former are mostly Latino & the latter are mostly white. This is systemic white supremacy in 2025. If you still don’t see it, you’re complicit

Folks reporting from outside of the area- THIS is why accuracy about location is important. DHS is producing propaganda to make Chicago look like a war zone. If an ICE attack happens on a quiet city street, don't call it the suburbs! chicago.suntimes.com/immigration/...

This shutdown is utterly unique in US political history in that it essentially stems entirely from the House majority's total inability to do anything but run in circles trying to satisfy the whims of an unstable, incompetent, self-obsessed president. It doesn't obey normal political rules.
Mike Johnson furiously backpedaling on the back pay thing is a pretty good indication that nobody in the GOP has the slightest clue how to deal with the shutdown.
Speaker Johnson appears to say furloughed federal workers should get back pay under 2019 law

"It has always been the case. It is tradition and I think it is statutory law that federal employees be paid. And that’s my position."
