I’ll never cheer for the Falcons again

I’ll die hating the Saints
Saints/Falcons is the only CFB rivalry in the NFL
I can’t believe that Atlanta and New Orleans are playing each other so hard so that teams that they hate can make it to the playoffs. I would just sit down in the middle of the field.

like why the fuck does CNN have an “official prediction market partner”
At the absolute bare minimum, major media outlets should not be establishing formal business partnerships with betting market companies!

This isn't even "fight back and regulate"

it's "don't choose to step on the spike-covered poison-tipped rake"

Back in 2019 the leader of the University of Washington college republicans got in hot water for tweeting out the term “GloboHomo,” a slur known almost solely to the sorts of folks who read Stormfront. So of course that person was soon hired by Chris Rufo and is now Russ Vought’s press secretary.

I’m still flabbergasted that the regime thinks it can kidnap a sovereign country’s president, then write some dumb indictment, as if America has any authority to enforce its laws.

I hope I am here for the day Pam Bondi is taken away in handcuffs. If not in this country, some place else.

it’s also just … not true. anyone half paying attention has seen this coming for months. none of it was a secret
CNN commentator just now: "You have to congratulate the administration on keeping this quiet".

The news media is a huge contributor to the rise of unlawful tyranny.

It's such a small step from stealing all of the student papers at UF to try to rig an election to stealing a country.
Uhhhh. So to be clear this would be the end of the transatlantic alliance and Europeans should really make that clear.

The New York Times and Washington Post learned of the impending commission of a major crime and did nothing
(Semafor) - The New York Times and Washington Post learned of a secret US raid on Venezuela soon before it was scheduled to begin Friday night — but held off publishing what they knew to avoid endangering US troops ..

A grip of my ancestors came here with nothing. Not even their own bodies. Not even their own tongue. And got us to a point where I am clickity-clacking on a computer relatively safe and comfortable. For now, anyway. And all I owe them for all of that is to never go back.

Also, what a LOT of people who are not black on this side of the planet do not understand is that being a descendant of slaves is not a badge of shame but a badge of honor. Because that freedom was won under impossible odds. An AMAZING accomplishment.

Can't help but feel like this is one of the reasons why the Constitution says If a dude in office does an insurrection, don't let that motherfucker hold office again

Bc clearly they cannot be trusted with power & control over the levers of government, & they do not care about democratic constraints

Perhaps now people will stop wishcasting about the US military refusing illegal orders. That's not a thing that happens. The 100% compliance rate with using civilian boats for target practice was a bit of a tell.

The president of Venezuela must be held legally accountable for his crimes, which the Supreme Court forbids to happen for the president of the US, who recently pardoned the president of Honduras for similar crimes.

The military literally takes kids and trains them to follow fucking orders and not question authority. And then those kids have their lives and income and everything pretty much controlled by their job. It's an identity.

And it's hard for most people to resist authority.

The same week that the EPA terminated Solar for All, Groundswell received a bid for a solar and energy storage project in Yazoo City that could've helped 185 families save $1,170 annually on electricity.

The initiative was the first of several planned projects in Mississippi.
