People who write about politics had their brains properly broken by the madness of the latter days of the various Tory governments, and now are addicted to writing about gossip and conjecture. And it's not helping the already low-quality information landscape we live in.

The next election is FOUR YEARS AWAY. Can you all just shut up for now about what the next parliament might look like, for the love of God?

It shouldn't be up to Billy Vigar's family to sue someone for clubs to finally do something about this. It shouldn't need someone to bloody die.

The FA doing a review now is horses and barn doors territory, yet here we are.

The richest man on earth owns X.

The second richest man on earth is about to be a major owner of TikTok.

The third richest man owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

The fourth richest man owns The Washington Post.

See the problem here?

"If you've had enough of politicians, if you don't trust Westminster, join us."

What a revolting, cynical statement for a man who was an MP of the party that ruled for 14 years until five minutes ago - and David Cameron's speech writer before that.

What contempt for voters. ~AA

Dorries defecting to Reform not long after it was speculated Farage might get to appoint some Lords? Surely a coincidence.

I'm sad to say that since leaving Twitter/X my sales for live shows have dropped quite a lot - it turns out that even though it's a dreadful place it was still useful for getting the word out about events. So any shares / RTs of my posts about live shows are hugely appreciated!

People think money has ruined football but the sight of a rapist dictator standing next to a corrupt football official in front of a big gold trophy at a competition bankrolled by Saudi Arabia reminds me the game still belongs to us.

Can we not get a “plucky PSG and their starving supporters” narrative please?

They are a rich kid’s plaything on gigantic wages and they *should* be here, every fucking year.

There's a lot of talk about fine margins, but if you don't have players who can take the chances you create those margins are going to go against you in the bigger games.

Amazing stuff again! Arsenal deserved to win both legs of this quarter-final, Saka's goal brilliant, and Madrid only scored because of a mistake you'll probably never see Saliba make again in his career.

5-1 on aggregate, Rice superb over both games, but a hugely impressive collective effort too.🔥

Myles Lewis-Skelly vs Real Madrid

18 years old. Quarter final vs Real Madrid. Up against Mbappe, Vinicius, Rodrygo and asking for the ball all the time in tight spaces. Playing like a 27 year old leader. Balls. Baller.

I wonder how the ‘letter of the law’ brigade can square the officials’ performance today… in particular re: Fofana’s display. 1 straight red and 5 yellow card offences. Should have been off in the 1st half hour… meanwhile we get sendings off for tapping a ball 6’’ while being hoofed in the air ffs.
