To every elected congressman who says "I’m not familiar with the facts of that situation"

Isn’t "being familiar with the facts" your number 1 job?

The regime should be mindful of who actually hung after the Nuremberg trials. They were the ones who gave or followed illegal orders...

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

As the Trump regime starts to harm its own base we can hope that being personally impacted forces folks to look around and see others who are impacted and grow a little.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

Legacy media is so broken. Disgusting to watch "Morning Joe - Fox edition" giving Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent a big fluff job interview.

The truly maddening thing is that, unlike when I was a young man in science and the materials and engineering just weren’t there yet, the future is *right there.* The problem is *solved*. What’s holding us back is not just greed, but this bizarre nostalgia, an obsession with petro- masculinity.
Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative

Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 94th day out of the last 106.

12 days of work in 106 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

No need to ask. I know this one.

Between 17,000 and 23,000 were executed primarily by Guillotine in a 12 month period. Or about 60-100 per day.

1/2 - Republican Lie: "People earning $500,000 a year are getting Obamacare tax credits" The tax credit they are talking about guarantees that your premiums will not exceed 8% of your income with no income ceiling on that credit. So THEORECTICALLY, someone making $500K gets a benefit.

Change "likely to" to "will rig the vote".
A lot of current democratic politicians more than deserve to get taken down in 2026, at the same time many protest voters are going to need to swallow their pride & vote. In either case, the GOP is likely to rig the vote regardless. So you ought to plan for revolution or popular resistance as well.
