The solution is right above us. Solar panels on existing buildings, car parks, and along highways generate clean power without sacrificing farmland or wild spaces. Let's use our built world first. #Renewables #Innovation

Our beautiful planet will sustain us but we must protect and nurture her. Keep pressing to stop forest destruction and replenish our green spaces. A healthy environment is a human right.
Stats Spotlight: Brazil lost 1.8M hectares in 2024; Indonesia 200K. Global rate: 10M hectares/year. Ecocide fuels 12-15% of GHG emissions. Now: Rising temps. Future: Unlivable zones. Time to reforest & enforce laws! Who's with me? #StopEcocide

🌧️ My village, Nseh, is experiencing heavy rainfall & hailstorm, right in the heart of the dry season. This isn’t just unusual weather; it’s a sign of shifting climate patterns. My father sends greetings & a reminder, nature is changing fast. #ClimateChange #AfricaWeather

Deforestation in tropical rainforests released billions of tons of CO₂ recently, worsening climate chaos.

Rainforests are Earth's biodiversity powerhouses, home to half the world's species despite tiny land coverage. Yet primary forest loss hit alarming highs in recent years, driven by farming, logging & fires.

Rainforests regulate climate, store massive carbon & support life we depend on. Deforestation accelerates warming & biodiversity collapse, yet progress in some regions shows change is possible.

Key areas with forests under threat include the Amazon (largest rainforest, vital for global oxygen), Congo Basin (Africa's biodiversity hotspot), and Southeast Asia's Indonesian forests (home to orangutans). Protecting these through sustainable practices is crucial for our future.

UNESCO calls climate education a key driver for change.
It builds knowledge, skills, values & attitudes so young people become true agents of change—not helpless observers.
The earlier we start, the stronger the impact. 🌱 #ClimateAction

Rainforests cover just 6% of Earth's land but house over half of the world's plant and animal species. Yet, deforestation destroys an area the size of a football field every few seconds, driven by logging, agriculture, and mining. This loss accelerates climate change and biodiversity decline.

Remember: 'Plants can survive without humanity and humanity can't survive without plants.' Our survival depends on preserving these green lungs of the planet. Let's rethink our impact! 🌿🌍 #EcoWisdom

Humanity isn't inherently "despicable",we're capable of better choices.
Shifting resources from conflict to conservation & exploration could secure life on Earth and answer if we're alone.
What future do we vote for with our spending? 🌏🔭

Medicinal resources from forests: 25% of modern drugs come from rainforest plants. Losing them means losing cures. 🌿💊 On a scale from 1-10, how worried are you about the disappearance of our remaining forests & their resources? #NaturalMedicine #BiodiversityLoss

A Biodiversity Crisis
Forests are home to 80% of terrestrial biodiversity. Destroying them doesn't just remove trees; it triggers a silent extinction. Thriving under nature's laws means protecting these irreplaceable life networks. #Biodiversity

Buttress roots are the unsung heroes! In African rainforests like the Congo, about 21% of trees over 10cm in diameter have these massive, flaring roots for stability in shallow, nutrient-poor soils. They spread wide to anchor giants up to 60m tall, preventing toppling in heavy rains.
