Highlander 2, if it existed, which it did not as I basically deny it.

“Remember how we met, on Planet Zeist?” Bite me, movie.

Also “The Girl in Lovers Lane” because that ending: why!?
fun question: what’s the maddest you’ve ever been leaving a movie theater? not necessarily worst movie you’ve seen, but the one that just pissed you off the most. mine is Batman v Superman

The left tried for decades to pass green energy subsidies, passed them, the subsidies worked, and now literally the entire planet's electricity grid is going to convert to solar+battery. It just doesn't feel like "tech" because it mostly produces kinda boring blue collar jobs instead of billionaires

How do we improve shareholder value if all of the shareholders expire? You’d think that would factor into our decision making at some point.

He had really good timing. When he hosted SNL years before, they did a gameshow called "The Question is Moot" which I still think about decades later.

“Who gets the car?”
“I get the car.”
“Why?”
“The question is moot.”

It's been a while since I've seen the #MST3K experiment Overdrawn at the Memory Bank. How did I forget that Maury Chaykin is in this?!

(Check out his Nero Wolfe series he did a while back, it's so good and they should have won all the costuming awards.)

Films are a lot cheaper to make when you recycle an entire other movie for footage!

(It's been years since I've seen Battle Beyond the Stars. All I really remember is that it had Robert Vaughn and George Peppard in it and is vaguely Seven Samurai shaped.)

This one has... none of those actors.
Roger Corman recycled the effects and score from another space movie, and then got the writer of Deathstalker and 11 episodes of Care Bears to write and direct it. It's SPACE RAIDERS and it will be one of four films for The RiffTrax Experiments

If we're going to bring back smog and rivers on fire, at least bring back the wocka-chika guitar pedals and horn sections.
“The U.S. no longer has emission standards of any meaning,” said Margo T. Oge, who served as the E.P.A.’s top vehicle emissions regulator under three presidents and has since advised both automakers and environmental groups…

“Nothing. Zero,” she added. “Not many countries have zero.”

This show was pioneering in so many ways. The use of CGI, the season-long plots weaving through individual episodes, putting characters through the wringer, and that Christopher Franke soundtrack! I could go on and on.

Glad that more people get the chance to see it.
One of the best sf shows ever made, Babylon 5, is being released on YouTube by Beyond Infinity in collab w/ WB. And it's upscaled!

One ep every few days.

Seasons 3-4 are masterpieces, but if you've never seen the show, you can start now!

‘The axiom “Honest men have nothing to fear from the police” is currently under review by the Axioms Appeal Board.’
