In the rural Maryland county where an ICE concentration camp is planned, the county commission board voted unanimously to back it.

One board member, Derek Harvey, has an interesting resume: He was Trump’s top NSC Middle East adviser in 2017 + later worked as lead investigator for Rep Devin Nunes 🙃

It's such a red flag for misogyny in some form, when colleagues or managers describe a woman as "difficult", without any kind of evidence of any serious misconduct.

Code for; she won't tolerate our misconduct, exclude her.
Thinking about the time I was at a quantum gravity meeting and the man across from me was talking to me and a man next to him turned and said in all seriousness “don’t talk to her, she’s difficult” and it was because I had reacted ”badly” to racism. Meanwhile their heroes were hanging with Epstein.

Excellent piece. In any case, the 'trilateral peace talks' are a grim farce: Putin is only interested in coercing Ukraine into surrender, & the US seems content to go along. It makes no sense for Europe to try to join in; it should focus on strengthening UA & weakening RU, militarily & economically.
Once again European leaders are trying to reach out to Moscow, as part of a 'diplomatic solution' or 'peace process', but as long as we keep approaching as supplicants begging the king for an audience, these efforts are doomed to fail

I parsed through some of the emails in the Epstein files, and it’s very clear that Epstein was a eugenicist weirdo. Something he very much had in common with the billionaire class à la Elon Musk, Peter Thiel and Donald Trump. New for @motherjones.com.

In the latest files, the trafficker gives it a Silicon Valley–pilled name: "genetic altruism."
