There is a reason that they are feeling “isolated.” There is documented evidence that may archaeologists have consistently been complicit in taking cultural heritage from Gaza and also using alleged excavation needs to encroach on Palestinian lands. Let’s not pretend we don’t remember. 🎁 link.

The thing that will save BBC (News) is empowering it to be a critically thinking institution, which produces significant journalism. Absolutely excellent, eviscerating piece (as usual from Lewis). Explains perfectly (1) though sloppy editing Newsnight merely stated a true fact that Trump caused Jan 6th; (2) how a culture of fear of the right wing political class and super rich has caused an institutional capture by stealth

POTUS, Speaker Johnson and Congressional Republicans remain the barrier to addressing health care costs.

For the first time, we've secured a guaranteed vote on this crisis and if they continue to ignore the needs of the American people, they'll be held accountable next November.

President Trump blocked food assistance for over a week — then tried to punish states for feeding hungry Americans.

This is great news and I’m grateful to AG Campbell and her team. SNAP benefits are still going out. If you have funds on your EBT card, use them.
A federal judge just granted our motion to temporarily block the Trump Administration from ordering states to claw back full SNAP benefits.

We won’t stop fighting to help residents put food on the table.

The federal government has the money to continue funding SNAP benefits — they’re choosing to suspend it and harm millions of families across the country already struggling to make ends meet.

I’m leading a lawsuit against the Trump Administration to release these funds immediately.
