Wife. Mama. 45th Attorney General of Massachusetts. She/her.
Since day one, the Trump Administration has remained laser focused on attacking independent agencies like the CFPB because they work for the American people – not the President.

I will keep fighting against this unlawful federal overreach and keep winning.

A veteran contacted my office after being incorrectly denied Total and Permanent Disability.

We worked with him to get his application approved. This resulted in the discharge of his remaining $326,805 federal loan balance.

Know that my office will always advocate for you.

It's that time of year again - as the thermostat goes up, so do your utility bills.

These resources could help you lower your bills and budget accordingly while my office continues to advocate for you.

Happy New Year, Massachusetts!

Through the ups and downs of 2025, community, faith, and hope kept us together.

To another year of fighting the good fight 🥂

Today, ACA subsidies will expire for hundreds of thousands of Massachusetts residents.

This is an unacceptable failure of federal leadership. You deserve better than a government that asks you to decide between your health and your savings.

The Trump Administration attempted to unlawfully stall the review process for NIH grants, slowing research on cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.

Now, we reached a settlement with HHS that will ensure review of these critical grants continue.

Life-saving care can’t wait.

My top priority is addressing the number one issue affecting Massachusetts: affordability.

The CFPB is a critical ally in my office’s work taking on companies exploiting working people. I won’t let this agency be gutted because the President wants to protect his billionaire buddies.

Did you know that my office has a student loan assistance unit?

Recently we achieved $91,264 in forgiveness for a public service worker and helped a librarian struggling with private loans save $50,010.

You don't have to navigate student debt alone - my office is here to help.

My office is ready to keep fighting for MA in the new year - hopefully with some new Beyoncé and the Pats in the Super Bowl.

No one is exempt from Massachusetts’ environmental or consumer protection laws.

We just reached a nearly $150 million multistate settlement with Mercedez-Benz USA for circumventing emission standards and deceiving customers – including over $200 million in potential consumer relief.

Recently, my office got more than 50k back in restitution for employees at two companies guilty of wage theft.

The affordability crisis is enough of an obstacle to putting food on the table and paying bills – nobody should have to worry about their employer trying to scam them on top of it.

The Trump Administration is once again attacking access to life-saving, gender-affirming care for young people by trying to strong arm providers into choosing between their patients and Medicaid reimbursements.

We won't stand for it. We're suing.

While the Trump Admin schmoozes with big tech and billionaires to fund their new $400 million ballroom, they want to gut the CFPB budget.

The CFPB has given more than $21 billion back to Americans. It's clear who the federal government is serving and it's not working people.

The Trump Admin attempted to unlawfully pull lifesaving homeland security funding from states that don't comply with their cruel immigration agenda.

We sued - and we won.

Our residents’ safety isn’t up for negotiation.

NEW: My office has reached a $250k settlement with Feedback Earth for emitting rancid odors from its Grafton facility, affecting residents miles away.

$110k of that settlement will be put back into the community through my office’s Environmental Justice Fund.

The Trump Administration is attempting to ensure the CFPB runs out of money completely this January, effectively defunding the agency and stripping away one of the strongest safeguards working families have against fraud and corporate abuse.

Not on my watch. We're suing.
