73rd Governor. Joanna's other half. Stepmom, aunt, sister, baller. Always playing for Team Massachusetts 🏀
If President Trump and Republicans don't act, more than 300K people in Massachusetts will see premiums skyrocket by as much as $25K.

They're gutting the ACA's ability to keep care affordable — and families and small businesses will pay the price.

Good.

President Trump blocked food assistance for over a week — then tried to punish states for feeding hungry Americans.

This is great news and I’m grateful to AG Campbell and her team. SNAP benefits are still going out. If you have funds on your EBT card, use them.
A federal judge just granted our motion to temporarily block the Trump Administration from ordering states to claw back full SNAP benefits.

We won’t stop fighting to help residents put food on the table.

If President Trump wants to punish states for feeding hungry Americans, we’ll see him in court.

We’re working with @massago.bsky.social to make sure everyone gets the benefits they’re owed. Trump should focus on reopening his government instead of fighting to take food away from families.

President Trump’s cruelty knows no bounds.

Our scheduled SNAP payment went out this morning, so families who missed earlier payments should now have funds available on their cards ready to buy food. We’re reviewing what the latest court ruling means for those expecting benefits next week.

HUGE WIN: Thank you to @massgovernor.bsky.social and the Mass. Department of Transitional Assistance for getting FULL SNAP benefits on cards as early as tomorrow. Hunger isn't political - we'll keep fighting for our residents!
SNAP UPDATE: I’m directing SNAP benefits to be processed today — and paid IN FULL starting tomorrow.

Americans are going hungry because President Trump chose to play politics with their lives.

People need to eat. We’re making sure they do.

Because of the GOP shutdown, 42 million Americans have their SNAP benefits cut.

Millions more won’t get heating help. Families lost child care.

Health premiums will soar. Tariffs are spiking prices.

The President may not want to hear it, but people are feeling it everyday.

It shouldn’t take multiple court orders for the President to feed hungry Americans.

Donald Trump needs to restore full SNAP benefits now. No half measures. No excuses.

The @gr8bosfoodbank.bsky.social's Chain of Giving is the unofficial start of the holiday season — when volunteers come together to unload hundred's of frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving tables across Massachusetts.

This year, it means even more, because the need is greater than ever.

Massachusetts isn’t just the best place to grow up — we’re making it the best place to grow old, too.

Thanks to Fallon Health and MassHealth’s PACE model, older adults in Southeastern Mass will get the care they need while aging in place with dignity and peace of mind.

Mayor Hynes led Boston with vision, courage, and collaboration — qualities shaped by his service in both World Wars.

As we approach Veterans Day, it’s fitting that his name stands alongside fellow heroes at John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Center.

Massachusetts is America's #1 state for jobs!

With the strongest worker protections, job security, and highest rates of job growth in country, Massachusetts is the best place in the country to live and work.

Head Start is more than school. For kids, it’s 2 meals a day and care they need. For parents, it's the ability to work and provide for their family.

We advanced state funding to keep centers open, but no state can do this alone. Our families can't afford the GOP's government shutdown.

Heartbreaking news out of Kentucky. Joanna and I are praying for the victims, their families and the Louisville community tonight.

The crash ignited a large fire just after the plane took off at the Louisville airport. The incident drew a massive response from first responders.

SNAP feeds families in every city and town — especially kids, seniors, and people with disabilities.

But right now, more than 1 million people don’t have the benefits they need to get through the month.

If you need help or can give help, go to Mass.gov/SNAPFreeze.

Every other president has used contingency funding to feed Americans during a shutdown. It shouldn’t have taken a court ruling for Donald Trump to do the bare minimum.

President Trump needs to fully fund SNAP now. Hungry families can’t afford to wait.

At any point, President Trump could have released billions of dollars to SNAP going during the shutdown. He’s had the power — and the funding — the whole time.

Now, his administration admits what we’ve known all along. Families should never have been put in this situation.

On Saturday, @massltgovernor.bsky.social and I visited The Salem Pantry as they prepared for a busy morning feeding families who lost their SNAP benefits.

In Massachusetts, we take care of one another. I’m so thankful for every volunteer and food pantry stepping up for their neighbors.

Millions of Americans woke up on November 1 without the SNAP benefits they need to feed their families.

The people of Massachusetts are stepping up, but no state can fix this alone. President Trump needs to release the funds to keep SNAP going — now.

In every city and town in every state, SNAP feeds seniors, kids, veterans, and people with disabilities.

They’re the ones paying the price while Donald Trump blocks food assistance. It’s time for the President and Republicans in Congress to do their job.
