President Trump is driving up the cost of groceries, housing, energy — everything. Now health care costs are about to skyrocket because Republicans in Congress refuse to act.

Families facing $25,000 premium hikes can’t wait. Washington needs to do its job.

Happy 250th to the Colonial Navy of Massachusetts! We’re not just the birthplace of American democracy — we’re the birthplace of the U.S. Navy. Here’s to 250 years of bringing our history to life.

Offshore wind is creating jobs AND driving down energy costs. At a moment when families need relief, we can’t afford to take solutions off the table.

This is good news. Grateful to @massago.bsky.social and the team for their work.
WIN - We sued the Trump Administration for unlawfully attempting to freeze permitting for wind energy projects. Today, the courts ruled in our favor.

This decision will allow Massachusetts to continue creating green jobs and working towards net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

Massachusetts is all in on quantum, and QMIT at @mit.edu will turn quantum breakthroughs into real solutions to the world's biggest challenges.

Our innovation engines are our competitive edge — drawing top talent, sparking new investment, creating jobs, and powering our economy.

Students want to leave high school with the skills to manage their money — so they don’t take on debt before they’re ready.

Our framework for high school graduates would make financial literacy and financial aid part of every student’s path to graduation 💸

Since 1991, the hepatitis B vaccine has cut pediatric infections by 99%. It’s safe and it works — saying otherwise puts our children in danger.

Here in Massachusetts, our Department of Public Health is led by a doctor, guided by science, and still strongly recommends hep B shots for newborns.

My statement on RFK’s handpicked vaccine advisors’ decision to abandon longstanding guidance on hepatitis B vaccine for newborns.

Students should graduate high school ready for what's next – college, career, or service.

That’s what families expect.
That’s what teachers work for.
That’s what employers need.
That’s what students deserve.

That’s what our new graduation standards will deliver.
December 5, 2025 at 1:02 PM
Massachusetts families can always count on my administration to make public health decisions based on evidence, not ideology.

The data here is clear: vaccines are safe and effective for our children.

Being #1 in education means Massachusetts is always pushing to be better for our kids. That's why we're investing in:

💼 Career pathways
🛠️ Career technical education
📚 Early college

And why we're setting strong statewide graduation standards that mean real readiness after high school.

While RFK uses the federal government to spread conspiracies, we’re sticking with science.

Vaccines save lives. No matter what happens in Washington, you’ll be able to get them in Massachusetts.

Transit workers keep us safe on the roads and rails. They deserve to be safe on the job.

Today, I signed a bill to strengthen protections for the @mbta.com and regional transit employees — and to send a clear message: we’ve got your back.

President Trump held up heating assistance until December — leaving families out in the cold for a month.

In Massachusetts, we protected families from shutoffs and kept the heat on. HEAP funds are finally flowing again, and we’re moving fast to get help out the door.
Winter heating assistance opens for thousands of Massachusetts residents after federal government shutdown delay - The Boston Globe
The programs provides grants - not loans - to participants who meet eligibility requirements for the assistance which is available through the heating season.

Massachusetts is America’s #1 state for women. And we plan on keeping it that way.

At a moment that demands courage and action, the women at the Mass Conference for Women aren't stepping back. They're leaning in and leading — and so is our state.
December 3, 2025 at 9:30 PM
For the next two days, RFK’s handpicked advisory committee will meet in DC to debate childhood vaccines.

And let's be real — we can’t trust them to choose evidence over ideology.

In Massachusetts, science still matters. The health of our children matters. And it always will.

I’m competitive — that’s no secret. I want Massachusetts to be the best place to live, work, and do business.

That’s why I launched our Competitiveness Council with business, labor, and community leaders who know how to win. Great first meeting today. Let’s get to work.

Students in every state are struggling right now — and too often, the response is to lower expectations.

But in Massachusetts, we’re working with teachers, school leaders, and parents on a new framework for graduates that makes our first-in-the-nation public education stronger.

Once again, the Trump Administration is playing politics with people’s food. It's cruel — plain and simple.

Working families with kids, seniors and folks with disabilities need to eat. President Trump should order the release of SNAP funding immediately.
Trump administration says it will withhold SNAP from Democrat-led states if they don't provide data
The Trump administration says it will withhold SNAP food aid from recipients in most Democratic-controlled states starting next week unless they provide data about those receiving the assistance.

In Massachusetts, we want a high school diploma to mean students are ready for whatever comes next – college, career or service.

That’s what setting statewide standards for graduation are all about. More from me and Education Secretary Tutwiler.

College, career, service – students have choices after high school. It’s on us make sure they’re ready for the future they want.

With college and career planning, financial literacy, and financial aid help, our new statewide graduation framework does just that.

Across Massachusetts, we’ve seen communities come together in big and small ways this year.

As we light the State House tree, we celebrate that spirit. @joannalydgate.bsky.social and I are wishing you a holiday season filled with love and laughter 🎄❤️

Happy Holidays, Massachusetts! 🎅🏻🎄

With a little help from Santa and families from across the state, the State House Tree is ready for the holiday season.

Massachusetts has the best schools in America. But like a good student, we never stop learning.

I'm releasing a new framework for graduation standards. We're moving past high-stakes tests to prepare students for college, career, military service — whichever path they choose 🎓

State Representative Ann-Margaret Ferrante was one of the most selfless people I know. There was no one more loyal to her friends, family and constituents she served.

I will miss her humor, guidance, passion and, most of all, friendship. My heart goes out to all who loved her.
