I know you've heard that a federal judge ordered the release of 5 year old Liam Conejo Arias and his father, and that they're now home.

But did you look at the judge's order?

It's less than 2.5 pages and well worth a minute. "Jesus wept."

The sadder take on this that I’m choosing to believe is that Kayleigh has no idea her mother is lying to her
Kayleigh: My mom went to see Melania. She said the theater was packed, it was standing room only. People were cheering through it, they were excited. It was interactive—people interplaying with the film. She said it was just electric.

This is true! Where am I on Super Bowl Sunday? At the movies, ignoring online discourse about the game (and worse, commercials) and letting those people enjoy themselves.

Worst case is a restaurant is maybe a little *too* understaffed, but even then, it’s quieter.
It's Super Bowl week! A reminder that if football isn't your thing, restaurants & movie theaters this Sunday will be empty. You can book a table at your favorite restaurant, get the best service you'll get all year, and practically have your favorite restaurant all to yourself. Make it a date night!

i remember being a kid and being very excited about being an adult and being able to experience cool mature adult things like understanding what Doonesbury was about and now I am an adult and almost all media I experience that is aimed at me sounds like they're talking to a toddler.

The problem with enduring docs like THE PERFECT NEIGHBOR is how many of the problems are completely avoidable. Beyond the fact that cops are useless and that woman would be alive today were it not for guns… build a playground.

City, town, whoever’s responsible. Build spaces for kids!

Condolences to Bo Welch, the production designer who made BEETLEJUICE and BATMAN RETURNS look so cool. As the story goes, Catherine O’Hara was yapping with Tim Burton on the BEETLEJUICE set saying “why hasn’t Bo asked me out?!”, and Tim simply said “I’ll see what I can do.”

Rest in peace, Catherine

So much of my love of reading came from Neil Gaiman. A bastard who belongs in jail.
Question for the Skyline: What was your HARDEST "cancel"?? Like the actor/singer/athlete that was the hardest to drop.

I feel like it's always people I don't fw getting canceled so it's never really a loss.

The hardest one was maybe TI because I actually liked multiple albums by him.

Exactly right.

Bovino's leaving? Great, get Noem to resign.

Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE.

Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them.

Every possible angle.
They are wounded and flailing. Press the advantage.

Oscar nominee THE UGLY STEPSISTER is on Hulu, so that means you can watch it on Disney+.

Somewhere I hope someone following up SLEEPING BEAUTY with MALEFICENT, or 101 DALMATIANS with CRUELLA, sees this and has their entire world rocked.

The kind of criticism I love to see
Loved The Bone Temple, and not just for the alpha peen. Ralph Fiennes fully executed a drag number so good it resurrected my memories of Metal Patricia at the Russian River Massacre around 2001. IYKYK on all counts.

Guys nothing personal but if you rub your a.i. generated anti-ICE, anti-Trump memes in my face I gotta unfollow and mute you and also you’re dead to me.

It’s the sewage that fascism both shits and eats, it’s like blowing smoke in my face to show me how evil the tobacco companies are.
