I don't think it's a coincidence that the PS5 and now the Switch 2 have specifically garnered a defence force going "what are you, poor?" when people complain about the value
I also tend to feel this way, every single person that advocates for more expensive games feels like they'd also hate indie games and consider them games for poors
I'm a bit cynical, so I wonder if the true intention of this "games should be 100 bucks" take has roots in an opinion more related to "I like the video game culture and I don't want devs to cater to poor people"

my family of three just got hit with another $400 for car repairs and it's cut into our rent. our landlord can and will legally make us homeless if we're even a cent short. my mother is disabled and will die if made homeless during Canadian winter. PLEASE share if you can't spare anything!!!

While there's valid reasons against using any platform, most the time these callouts are misrepresented user error things 😭
Use 2FA where available and make sure to stick to the TOS, that's how you avoid like 80% of these issues ;w;
