A really very important piece re Irish neutrality, international peacekeeping and the triple lock. Clearly pointing out the misinformation, disinformation and the partisan agendas behind much of the debate.

"...in favour of tight regulation rather than an outright ban".

How would that work exactly?
Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has doubled down on her party's pro-fox hunting position, despite some internal criticism.

Mary Lou McDonald says Sinn Féin's support of fox hunting is the right choice
The matter will be debated again at the party’s Ard Fheis in April.

No doubt that housing policies have played a big part in homelessness and in making life more difficult for everyone resident in the state. Also, no doubt that migration has played a big part in ensuring hospitals and other institutions continue to function despite lack of funding. Says voter.
Their drift to the far right is becoming more and more visible … and dangerous! No Taoiseach, it’s the polices of FF/FG governments that created this crisis #speirgorm

I feel like this should be obvious but it is not "taking security seriously" to keep referring to the alleged drone incursion near Dublin as if it's been demonstrated that it happened at all, let alone who did it or why. truth still matters, however much we'd like to write it off

Yes, the ads are annoying. But whoever came up with that 'Swipe for next article' thing, that covers the text you are trying to read and that can't be dismissed, deserves a terrible fate.

I'm sharing this here, as I have on Facebook and Instagram, but there's no account on here to share from, and I just think this is wonderful.

A really good balance of design and implementation, and appears to achieve everything it set out to do, and it *SO* appeals to my inner 'work nerd'.

Oh wow, just heard that clip on the radio of Micheál Martin getting super narky with Louise Burne from the Examiner… yikes. She was asking questions, simply doing her literal job as a decent journo.

Trying to insinuate she has no manners? Ick. What a deeply unpleasant man.

Lots to unpick here.

1. This VAWM is essentially a pro-hunting group (it was originally called Vets for Hunting), not a wildlife group or a welfare group. It has 150 members in the UK and Ireland, or 0.4% of registered vets. #foxhunting

Once again, if you believe that FF&FG would only love to give us a well-resourced, world beating welfare state but it’s just those pesky immigrants won’t let them, you are a gobshite. You have a loyalty card with your local bridge salesman. You were, in fact, born yesterday.

Partly FF eyeing those sweet sweet transfers from the unelectable right, partly the increasing influence of JOC within the ranks. But they were never a party of either policy or conviction, and always populists by inclination, so really not that surprising.
