It just doesn't feel like "tech" because it mostly produces kinda boring blue collar jobs instead of billionaires

Ich finde es im Gegenteil sehr plausibel und sauber durchargumentiert. Die "Höhöhö bloß stochastischer Papagei / alles Silicon Valley-Werbung"-Linie dagegen scheint mir weniger Argumente zu haben.

I've read Marco Rubio's speech. He can't recognize the mistakes of the west, he's talking about colonialism like it's no big deal, and how he's dead set on making western imperialism the norm. German government officials applauded this. We must emancipate ourselves from this murderous agenda.

The fact that large parts of the German media landscape “reported” on this White nationalist fever dream of a speech by Rubio as merely reaffirming the transatlantic alliance is so far removed from reality that it truly makes me speechless.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio giving a speech that is basically an extended version of the ethnonationalist Proud Boys oath: “I'm a proud Western chauvinist, I refuse to apologize for creating the modern world.”
The Rubio speech really is appalling, and if you haven’t read it yet, you should.
