the everywhere project posted a tribute to dan mcquade earlier this evening
photo of dan from the inquirer obituary with “we’ll miss you friend 💔” over top it from the everywhere project on instagram the_everywhere_project Dan was one of our first real supporters and a fierce advocate for people who use drugs. We met 6 years ago in a parking lot in Kensington and before we even officially started TEP, Dan wanted to help. His support, enthusiasm and willingness to do things like host his own fundraisers for us gave us the confidence that we could do this thing for real. Over the years, Dan would randomly show up at outreach or Venmo me his, "fee" when he'd promised to come and didn't make it. He'd text me every once in a while about how the city was continuing to lose the war on drugs or just checking in on how things were going. We also had personal friendships with Dan, our cofounder's daughter is the same age as his son, and they shared many pictures back and forth of the two babies. The harm reduction community and the entire city of Philadelphia has lost a truly great dude. We are sending so much love to Dan's wife, Jan, his son, Simon, his parents, and everyone that loved him. Tomorrow's outreach will be dedicated to Dan and we will ensure that he lives on through every outreach we host and person we support. According to "Good Time" sources, a 17-year-old girl was cast to play a prostitute in the crime thriller. Once on set, the teenager was thrust into a scene that involved nudity and simulated sex with "actor" Buddy Duress during production in New York. As part of their verité style, the Safdies were known for using a mix of professional stars like the film's lead, Robert Pattinson, as well as non-actors like Duress, who had just been released from prison. (Duress, real name Michael Stathis, had been jailed numerous times dating back to 2009 on drug charges, weapons violations, fencing stolen property and motor vehicle theft, according to court records.) While Josh watched the action unfold on his monitor, and Benny stood in the corner holding the boom, Duress, who was high at the time, pulled down his pants, exposed himself and asked the girl if "he could stick it in" as the cameras continued to roll, multiple sources tell Page Six Hollywood. (Duress died of a heroin overdose in November 2023.) "Any director who had seen that should have yelled 'Cut!' and stopped the scene, but Josh let it continue," says an on-set source who noted that Josh, and not Benny, was the de facto commander on set. It was also the moment Benny was made aware of the "Good Time" actress's age, creating a "wedge" between the brothers, as one friend of theirs described it. Josh blamed Bear-McClard for hiring a minor. Bear-McClard pushed back and noted that he wasn't the producer responsible for ensuring her age. Sources also note that Bear-McClard wasn't in the room when Duress tried to have on-camera sex with the teen. The brothers cut ties with Bear-McClard and began private mediation to unravel the company the trio founded. "You don't all of a sudden develop a moral conscience six years later.
