I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.

Finished the second Marlow Murder Club book, i liked it, the characters are definitely the strongest part, like the mystery but I think the motivation in this one was a bit weaker

The transphobia happening in the UK really makes me so beyond sad. I lived there for two years, and since i left it has reached a point where someone i knew got all the way to their final priest interview and failed it because they could not fathom being at all affirming of a trans person.

The BBC reporting on Beth Upton’s current employment situation is definitely not in the public interest, and it is insane how much the British press freely get away with harassing her for the crime of simply living her life existing as a trans person in the UK.
