A lot of white people, particularly older ones, think a person can't be a racist unless they're literally telling you they hate Black people and love Hitler.

So there is a value to publicizing them doing that so explicitly.

I am no Zionist, massively disagree with the Netanyahu government, and want to preface what I say with that.

This is no place to be debating the ethics of Israel. Innocent Mancunians were murdered on Yom Kippur because they were Jewish. There can be no equivocation about that. It's not the place.

Zack is spot on.

Now obviously, the British political/media class have enthusiastically frog-boiled themselves into believing that dragging off two hundred old ladies is just normal, regular centrist moderate politics. But you are not them, you should recognise that this is absolutely deranged authoritarian lunacy.

I urge you to note that “The government today arrested 400 anti-genocide protestors, The Ministry For Crackdowns said those committing terrorism would be crushed by the full force of the state” is the kind of thing you see in background news reports in scifi movies about future dystopias.

Some people (a lot!) want this to happen in the UK as well, sadly. And nobody is stopping them. They are walking on eggshells around them.
this is as open an admission that an entire agency is engaging in routine constitutional violations that I can imagine
Holy hell. DHS just openly stated that its agents use “reasonable suspicion” to make ARRESTS. This is blatantly unconstitutional. The Supreme Court is clear that you need probable cause to arrest someone, as opposed to stop them to ask them a question or two. This is huge b/c…

Its not 'a grift'. Its who he is.

There is NOTHING about #Gaza in my @bsky.app feed. Even if I search for “Gaza” or “Palestine” I get 2-3 day old posts. One has to go back to fascist X to get Gaza news and commentary. The exit happened a while ago when Gaza accounts were being deleted but it’s long lasting and deeply depressing.

How long before they start shooting? It’s a wonder this hasn’t happened yet. Wonder if they are already using an AI algorithm that systematically prevents POC from having a license (not that human agents wouldn’t be doing the same).
The White House’s official X account has a long thread in which they’ve posted pictures of people arrested during the feds’ occupation of the city. Every single person in the thread is a person of color.

There should be no law in democracy that cannot be opposed. That is the very mark of democracy itself.
