genuinely my biggest worry for the immediate future (assuming the failure of this insipid fascist project) is that in our rush to restore the institutions that have been dismantled, we'll forget that they were already hollowed out husks in desperate need of reform. we can't just settle for the ACA.

Today in adventures in getting paperwork for gender reassignment surgery: Got told that I need to be evaluated for 1 1/2 to 6 months. Was asked why I wanted the surgery since I was dating women. Was yelled at. Then I was asked how i would continue my career if I went ahead with the surgery.
