MN protestors #protip put 2 Idaho Russets in the oven at 420 degrees for 45 min, take them out and foil wrap, 1 in each pocket before you go out. Theyll stay warm for 3-4 hours even in this weather and you can eat em when you like. They used to send us kids out like this back in the 70s trust me.

To put 200 active measles infections in one state in context, the Disneyland measles outbreak a decade ago - which I did some work on in grad school - was 131 total cases in California. That was a notable outbreak. That's an outbreak with its own Wikipedia page. And it's just like this now

When I consider the bandwidth needed to pushback against the revisionist birthright citizenship history, I think a lot about Toni Morrison’s idea of racism being a power of distraction.
