So, same as Canadians.

Really cool that he crashed the stock market, turned the world against us, and inspired people to lash out at folks who had nothing to do with this (hi) and it was all for nothing.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm glad he buckled just like he always does.

But still. He could have just STFU.

Holy smokes - he opened with a reference to Vaclav Havel's "The Power of the Powerless," among the all-time greats of underground revolutionary literature (Havel spent years in jail for it, then became Czech's president after his release).

Momentous speech. Read the whole thing.
"The powerful have their power. But we have something too — the capacity to stop pretending, to name reality, to build our strength at home, and to act together. That is Canada’s path. We choose it openly and confidently."

These people are genuinely heroic, principled humans. The personal risk and sacrifice they undertook to oppose their government’s collusion in war crimes is astonishing and is not more widely covered since it shows how individuals can challenge and defeat a government.
This is a huge victory.

I congratulate the hunger strikers who put their lives on the line to challenge the Israel genocide machine.

Alberta’s media landscape is largely dominated by post media outlets. With new CBC positions in Medicine Hat, Banff, Lloydminster, Grande Prairie, and Hinton/Jasper, local news coverage will change. That’s worth applauding. 👏🏼 👏🏼
Big day! CBC News will add 33 local journalists and create 11 new bureaus this year, adding to last year's expansion of 30 journalists in 22 communities across Canada. Many of the new positions are based in Central and Western Canada. My editor's blog: www.cbc.ca/news/editors...

#WeThePeople of the USA stand with Canada and our other allies in Europe. We are doing our best to get rid of the mob boss squatting in the oval office and his mobsters. If only our politicians and law enforcement would stand up to trump and protect our Democratic principles.
Trump says that when it comes to Greenland "we will do it the nice way or the difficult way."
Canada is over being nice. We stand with our allies.
