It’s weird to think think that in a month or so, I’ll be wandering around without hat or gloves in these temperatures but this morning felt freaking brutal. At least I got my first icy run done for this winter season, remarkably enjoyable.

As the UK and Canada want to increase their defences against foreign powers, one of the key bulwarks is the BBC and CBC. Having a trusted source of news and information is critical to push back against disinformation campaigns that foreign powers funnel through the modern right.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Kid 2 was top scorer on his select team for 3 years. Wanted to skate A for them? They said no. Imagine how sweet it was today to beat them in his new team. He has friends still there for sure but nothing like a good strong F*CK YOU to send them home. A good day!

The world would be immensely better if more religions and their believers had even a tenth of the dedication the Sikhs do to doing good for people with no gatekeeping or expectations of anything other than "you are a fellow human in need and we can help you"
Folks, if you are hungry, please contact your local Sikh gurdwara. Or just show up for langar, which most gurdwaras do several times a week, for a free meal. Lots also do weekly or monthly drives giving out groceries.

A lady on TikTok has been calling churches pretending to be a mother with a baby who needs formula and several churches turned her away. But wouldn’t you know that when she called a Mosque (Islamic Center of Charlotte) they immediately said yes.
