Carney’s deal with Danielle Smith is the sellout of the century: scrapping climate legislation for a pipeline that will never be built.

We need powerlines, not pipelines. Our path is through climate leadership & building good jobs in the clean economy.

Carney just signed a deal with Alberta that lays out conditions for a new oil pipeline.

In doing this, he managed to piss off one of his own cabinet ministers (who promptly resigned), coastal First Nations, the B.C. government, the Green Party and the Bloc Québécois.

But uh, here's what he got:

I am so disappointed in Carney with this. We need a livable planet for all creatures and have a responsibility to those we share this world with and all future generations to protect it. So many other things could be nation-building without being planet-destroying.
Fires are still burning in the Arctic in the winter. The climate catastrophe is here.
Spending political energy to massively increase pipeline production in Canada is not nation-building. It is planet burning.

And today, Trump wants to reward russia for this ongoing genocide.

Where the hell is Canada under Carney? Trying to hide from the future by running back to the past.

LNG is bad. I think it’s embarrassing that the Province and the Feds are ‘all in’ on fossil fuels.

We will look back and regret these decisions, and the saddest part is that these projects capture resources that could be going towards sustainable development.

I have very rarely used the service and I still think it's a hugely important program.

It's a safe bike parking option. But it does so much more in terms of placemaking and community building.
