Huntington Beach unsurprisingly has a high density of people who didn't cancel their cybertruck orders. It's not uncommon to see two parked right next to eachother.

Wherever you are on a bicycle everyone around you thinks you are supposed to be somewhere else. In other words you shouldn't exist.
My dental hygienist got hit by a car pulling out of a driveway in the bike lane a month ago and a truck pulled up and rolled down the window to berate her for riding on the sidewalk and deserving to be hit. Drivers don’t even know the rules but they are ready to dole out vigilante justice with cars

Yes, but they strictly enforce against phone driving. In some countries, civilians can even upload videos of phone driving & police will ticket them.

The regime has posted signs at Manzanar, the WWII concentration camp for Japanese Americans, asking visitors to report "negative" historical interpretations. Hard to imagine a positive interpretation but it's probably just an excuse to shut down the park.
