One day I’ll be able to say I don’t celebrate thanksgiving, but for now I’ll be here for my dad. This is our first year not hosting, and our second without my mom, who loved hosting it so much. Miss you mama 🩵 by next year we’ll (hopefully) have the house and I can make all your recipes again

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle has had 6 patients since June with a rare fungal infection.
Mucormycosis has a fatality rate of about 50% and strikes the immunocompromised.
Unrelated: Harborview rang a bell and sure enough one of the first U.S. patients died of COVID19 there.

So #cascadia fam, do we have any ideas for re-naming the sub-sections of this region? Cause I don’t actually know the origin of the name Oregon, but Washington and B.C. have to change names, no question. I guess we could just do north-central-south, make it easy.
