This year we don’t even own that house. We’re in an apartment above our friends garage and barn. My bedroom has a barricaded door that leads to a hayloft. And for the first time basically ever, we’re going to someone else’s house for thanksgiving. And it fucking hurts.

And poetics aside, holy shit this is a hard time of year. It probably always will be. My mom passed a year ago tomorrow, and last year the best idea I had to keep my dad from going off the deep end was cooking the entire dinner myself, just so we could have a nice meal together.

It really isn’t something GW can do themselves to any great effect, a company attempting to limit who can buy its products doesn’t really work. The responsibility is really with the community itself, especially with store owners, event organizers, and online community moderators.

Stuff like this is so baffling to me because I think each and every game has at least one thing it does REALLY well, if not the best in the franchise. For example I think SwSh has some of the best human character designs.
