We are already deep into our societal transition. Collapse is here and now.
The question isn’t when collapse starts. It’s:

👉 How do we take action now, while we still can?
👉 How do we support each other in transforming how we live on earth & building resilience in the face of deepening crises?
👉 How do we ensure we don’t leave anyone—human or nonhuman—behind?

Elect Respect:
It’s time to restore civility and respect to the public square.

Harassment and abuse are undermining our democracy. Together, we can rebuild a culture where everyone—candidates, elected officials, and the public—can participate in democracy free from fear or intimidation.
Local elections are less than a year away. Online toxicity is a barrier to candidates coming forward, particularly those under-represented - Indigenous people, women, people of colour, LGBTQ2+ folks. Courtenay's Mayor Wells has a motion coming, to adopt the 'Elect Respect' campaign.

What Henry Giroux calls the violence of organized forgetting — a systematic effort to erase histories that expose the foundations of capitalism, white supremacy, and empire. This erasure is not incidental; it is deliberate — a calculated effort to sever young people from the history of resistance

Who wins Wars and why? "Reading O’Brien’s book is oddly cheering. The two biggest threats to global peace, Putin and Trump, are by O’Brien’s standards incompetent leaders of societies in disarray, without the political, technological or allied resources for an extended war."
