We should be angrier at the AI fetishists and techbros who have lied so diligently and loudly to the public that people believe that ‘AI’ can and should replace lawyers, doctors, teachers and more.

We should be enraged.
I have three hearings at three different courthouses today. At the second, someone was sobbing outside the courtroom. They'd asked ChatGPT what to say in Court. They believed what it told them.

They lost because it hallucinated, and they didn't know there were no do-overs.

Tonight, Bill C-5 — the bill that allows the government to fast-track major projects it deems are in the “national interest” — became law.

No new amendments were added.

That is really, really bad:

Mark Carney was asked whether the US strikes on Iran were a violation of international law. In response, he ignored the substance of the question and listed off a bunch of grievances the West has with Iran.

It’s a shameful and cowardly response from someone who claims to defend international law.

Iran has not build nuclear weapons despite Netanyahu saying it’s on the verge for decades, and it agreed to and abided by the JCPOA.

Carney says Iran wants to wipe out Israel; rhetoric in response to the fact Israel is literally trying to wipe out the Palestinian people (as the West stands by).

Palestinians call U.S.-run aid sites in Gaza ‘death traps.’ They still go because there’s no alternative.

“It’s very hard for non-Israelis to understand,” said Eran Etzion, a former deputy head of Israel’s National Security Council... “But you need to think about Israel now – about Netanyahu and Netanyahu’s regime – like you think about Putin and Putin’s regime.”
After more than 600 days of bloodshed in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and now a fresh attack on Iran, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu increasingly looks like a leader who is using those wars to extend his hold on power - and avoid facing the courts.

My analysis
Israel’s attack on Iran puts a leader addicted to war in the spotlight
If the wars stop, Netanyahu’s right-wing nationalist coalition likely falls apart – and he will almost certainly be back in court facing corruption allegations that could see him jailed

And to be clear, even in the face of the hesitance of our leaders to take a firm stance against Israel and the fear of our media to be honest about Israeli actions in Gaza and the West Bank since Oct 7, 49% of Canadians believe Israel is committing a genocide. They can see it with their own eyes.
Poll suggests half of Canadians believe Israel is committing genocide in Gaza
A new poll suggests that nearly half of Canadians believe Israel is committing genocide in Gaza almost two years after the current conflict began.

She was arguably the worst premier in Alberta's history.

It's not debatable anymore.

With this she has opened up a huge lead.
