This is one of the most unsettling three-paragraph sequences I've read in my life, and I've spent two decades reading the most deranged people on the planet.

We’ve been in WHO since 1948.
The United States has officially withdrawn from the World Health Organization.

This is a shameful move that puts both Americans and people all over the world at greater risk from disease outbreaks, which require international collaboration to contain.

I know we normalize everything this thoroughly abnormal man does but to reiterate: the president is SUING a newspaper over a poll result he doesn’t like and claims not to believe.

He is suing over a poll. Insanity. 25th Amendment territory. Again.
Trump says he's adding his bad poll numbers to his lawsuit against the Times. Deeply embarrassing stuff.

457 British troops lost their lives in Afghanistan.

Trump avoided military service 5 times.

How dare he question their sacrifice. Farage and all the others still fawning over Trump should be ashamed.

NATO did not "stay a little back, off the front lines."

Danish, British and Estonian troops served in Helmand, and Canadian forces in Kandahar - the two most dangerous Afghan provinces.

Denmark, UK, Estonia & Canada suffered amongst the highest per‑capita soldier death rates when defending the US.
Trump on NATO: "I've always said, will they be there if we ever needed them? That's really the ultimate test. I'm not sure of that. We've never needed them. They'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan and this or that. And they did. They stayed a little back, off the front lines."

An administration with a rapist mentality.
JD Vance: "I'm headed to Minneapolis where we're gonna talk with ICE agents and local officials about how we turn down the chaos. My simple piece of advice to them is going to be if you want to turn down the chaos in Minneapolis, stop fighting immigration enforcement."

Nigel Farage is STILL BACKING the Liz Truss minibudget!

He just told Bloomberg in Davos that the only problem was that she didn't cut enough financial support from poor people!

absolutely insane to see Musk feted at Davos as the icon of a boldly "optimistic" future in 2026, as if he hadn't just spent the last year buying elections for fascists, making Nazi salutes, condemning millions in Africa to death, and building "Mechahitler," and a nonconsensual porn/CSAM generator

🎯 Former 🇺🇸 WH Trump lawyer, Ty Cobb

“I don’t think there’s anybody outside the boundaries of the United States who believes for a second that Trump is sane at this stage of the game…And those in 🇺🇸 are merely in denial or are so invested in him they can’t accept what their own eyes tell them.”

Definitely deranged if he thinks a one day-old baby is going to do anything but puke on a rifle... obviously hasn't been a hands-on father/grandfather 🙄
Trump on Hamas: "They were born with rifles in their hands. Literally born -- first day, they had a rifle put into their hands. But they have to give up their weapons and if they don't do that, it's gonna be the end of them. Many countries have told me they want to go in and do it."

There you have it, the Board of Peace is nothing more than a corrupt real estate deal dressed up as diplomacy with the sole purpose of enriching Trump and his favoured cronies.
Trump makes concluding remarks. He says Gaza ceasefire push began because he is “a real estate person at heart, and it’s all about location, and I said, ‘look at this location, on the sea, look at this beautiful piece of property’”.

The BBC has gone beyond both-sidesism, and frequently now presents only Trump's account of events

(This isn't the only recent example)
The BBC North America editor tells us that Trump doubts that NATO would respond if the US asked for help.

She doesn't point out that the US is the only NATO member which has ever invoked Article 5, and that it got help. From Denmark and others.

The is not a new deal - this is Trump surrendering. For now. They have always said that the US & NATO is free to do what it wants in Greenland from a military perspective. Trump said that wasn’t good enough because he needs the US to “own” it. So this is simply Trump backing down
January 21, 2026 at 7:54 PM
Exactly this 👇 Stop pandering to him!
I understand the logic of providing Trump an off-ramp so he can back out with some dignity, but I think it's dangerous to do so. Each time these issues are resolved this way, he will be tempted to conduct himself this way again. What he needs is a public spanking.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.
