The US has already lost 12% of its current income due to climate change. Most studies project future losses, but new research from the University of Arizona has calculated the costs to date.

Climate change's hidden price tag: a drop in our income
By linking decades of weather and income data, University of Arizona economist Derek Lemoine shows how routine temperature shifts have already become an economic force.

Another super mild night in GREENLAND.
After a max >+10C, The night Minimum at Narsarsuaq was +7.1C ,much higher than most of Europe.
and one of the warmest nights ever recorded in Greenland in January.

We will have 3 more freeze-free nights in some stations:one whole week !
Another no-freezing night for several stations in GREENLAND

It's possible that some stations pass a whole week without ever dropping below freezing.
That's crazy for January, when the no-freezing nights are rare and hardly ever more than 2 in a row.
Most of Europe is colder (minimums) these days..

At just under +1.5°C 2025 will go down as the coldest year in the next 500 plus years. :-(
Here's the 365-day running mean, showing 2025 ending at 1.47°C above the 1850-1900 pre-industrial average. The quadratic trendline says 1.52°C for 2026.

The Climate 8-Ball says "1.58°C will come this way if an El Nino doth the oceans sway." The Climate 8-Ball sucks at poetry.

The EU banned that practice in 1997 and as such the UK has among the highest welfare and standards in the world. 1/2

I keep coming back to this fact and the article. 2,200 accounts of 1,000 millions of dollars in each, bigger, in one year. We are sooo going in the wrong direction. The 500 need to spread the wealth.
