A bit of recognition for China. Despite all the increasing demands the world is making of them they have managed to keep their CO2 emotions from going up, for ~18 months. This is the step before they start going down!

EUROPE HISTORIC NOVEMBER WARMTH
An exceptional warm week is kicking off with widespread abnormal warmth allover Europe, except for Central Mediterranean

Hundreds of records of November warm nights can fall with
MINIMUMS locally >15C in UK and >13C in Scandinavia, typical of June!

So now one of the good guys who predicted a big jump in global warming is concerned thus may have been underestimated. :-(

The more we can cut fossil fuel use, the quicker we can do it, the better chance we have if getting out of this with more people alive and a civilisation.
#LeaveItInTheGround
October is the least warmed month and reached +1.55°C during a La Niña!

The past 29 months were +1.57°C on average, 0.32°C above the same 2015-2017 period, indicating a 0.4°C/dec warming rate.

That's more than a doubling from the 1970-2010 warming rate.
Even(?) we might have underestimated this.

If all of China's new renewable electricity equipment, manufactured annually, were deployed in Europe, it could displace 100%+ electricity produced annually, from fossil fuels. Such is the growth in manufacturing capacity China could then do the same for the USA in 2026.
Things are changing fast.

What we're witnessing with #Melissa is ultra rare in the history of known hurricanes in the Atlantic. This level of sustained intensity and feasting on every joule of ocean heat content without any real disruption is incredible.

Not hyperbole: Jamaica is facing a generational catastrophic event.
