As far as I can tell, the Conservative party's position is that there should be no censorship of content on platforms like twitter but that the same content can be grounds for deportation/denaturalisation

Kensington and Chelsea: the only good cyclist is a dead cyclist😡
We initially designed the protected cycle infrastructure to include the RBKC side of Bayswater Road. Not surprising but nonetheless a depressing reply came back: "Stepped tracks and bus stop by-passes are just not something that is supported in RBKC currently."

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Westminster Council want to add a direct bike route with floating bus stops to Bayswater Road, from Lancaster Gate all the way west to… the RBKC boundary, where it will abruptly end. because RBKC.

It's International Men's Day, so a quick reminder that if you have testicles give 'em a good fondle every so often to check for any changes in things like size, texture, or the ability to spot other ships at thirty nautical miles.

There is no evidence that stripping refugees' rights one by one will have any impact on people crossing the channel.

Taking jewellery from refugees is akin to painting over murals for refugee children.

These repugnant ‘deterrents’ did not work for the Tories, and they won't work for us.

Imagine spending 20 years waiting to see if a reconsideration every few years would uproot you again. Never leaving the system. Constantly wondering whether you'd need to challenge a new decision made, thinking about evidence and getting legal help. Never feeling safe. It's inhumane.

Without asylum:

Marks and Spencer wouldn't exist

Queen would have been without a front man

The other queen wouldn't have had a husband

Judith Kerr would never have written The Tiger Who Came to Tea

And thousands of less famous people wouldn't have been teachers, politicians, neighbours, etc
