Wonderful article Westen! 😊

You didn't need to sell me on Blake Manor any more though 😂 - I loved this paragraph.

Cheers!

For 2026 I'd ask all reviewers move to percentiles. 4/5 seems good until metacritic or opencritic converts it to 80%, where it becomes damaging.

Please do not use AI for legal advice, or near legal documents, or for anything even adjacently legal. It's only when it's an area of law you actually have expertise in that you can see just how much it gets wrong. Otherwise it might look dangerously plausible. Just trust me. Don't.
I don't know how many times it needs to be said that you absolutely should not let fucking "AI" anywhere near your legal contracts, either in creating them or evaluating them, but apparently it needs to be said at least one more time, so allow me to say it again, here, right now

Best week of the year now that the chaos and stress of Christmas is done but we're a week away from returning to capitalism world.
The days between Christmas and New Years are like the purge. There are no rules. Time isn't real. Forget to go to work? Fuck your landlord? Drive your car through a 7-11? Everything resets soon. You'll wake up January 1st with only a slight headache & haze of regret.

The fact that 5e garbage will make millions of dollars and one of the most important games ever is BARELY over $200k really tells you how fucked the TTRPG community is

This is fucking grim. Somebody invented a white guy, an "IT professional" named Edward Crabtree, who stopped the Bondi shooting and spread it all over the internet, which was picked up by AI agents and slop aggregation sites.

The real hero is a fruit stand owner named Ahmed el Ahmed.
