The LDS church refuses to acknowledge believers can rationally and morally become former believers - but it accepts and encourages this among other faiths.
Public memo to Mormons: Please spare us your rectitude about religious bigotry. In 2025, Brigham Young University students are still not able to express a change in religious beliefs without risk of eviction from their student homes, loss of their campus jobs, or expulsion from the university.
