If a man said what Megyn Kelly said, you would assume he was a trafficker.

This young lady is wise beyond her years, but she is still a “child”and she would like a word…

My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.

I was a doctor in pre-ACA North Philadelphia.

Let me be clear: administrative violence like undoing the ACA *kills people.*

Illnesses like high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer & heart disease linger untreated for years.

Then people get super sick and die preventable deaths. It’s devastating.
Called my congressional rep to tell them to fix the ACA subsidies before approving any deals.

Called my NY state senators and left an earful on their voicemails.

Sent in money to our local food bank.

Now going to make some cookies and shake off this political hellscape.

This heartless attack on people - Democratic and republican alike - needs be a central focus of 2026 campaigns.

Who are these people? Christian what?

Assuming something passes out of the Senate, does Johnson just say "Nah, I'm good" and keep the House closed?

Does he open it, vote on the Senate bill, and then immediately adjourn again to attempt to stop swearing in Grijalva and a vote on the Epstein/Trump files release?

Remember that Schumer supported the loser in the NYC mayoral race.

While everyone else is celebrating a win, psychologically Schumer has needed to internalize what was a loss in his mind.

This plays into how he would approach any deal making....

With our big election win last week, and Trump's clear political and physical decline, Dems should be more ambitious now, and fight even harder, for the country and the American people. Voters saw us fighting for them & we were rewarded across the country 👇

Trump's Government Has Failed, His Powers Are Ebbing And For The Good Of The Country Democrats Must Become More Ambitious Now

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Every disaffected Dem & swing focus group we do begins with people asking what's real. They hear, at times, this is authoritarian takeover threatening lives & livelihoods. But perceive most "leaders" not acting as if this were so.

Yep. Has NYT devoted even *one* stand alone news analysis to the collapse of the MAGA coalition?
After a week in which Dems exceeded expectations in elections, Trump's popularity continues to tank, the GOP largely abandoned the task of governing (just as Thanksgiving travel approaches), I'm a bit surprised to see many more stories highlighting weakness in the Dem than in the GOP coalition.
This NYT framing is ludicrously overstated. Sure, there are primaries. But if anything, the results showed a lot of Dems that there's a way to unify the factions around anti-Trump and affordability politics (as I try to argue in the piece/thread below).

This is significant in Kansas, which announced on Friday that it was distributing full benefits to all SNAP recipients & doing it *right freakin' now*. As in, not reloading the cards in its usual way, over multiple days, by last name of household head. All SNAP cards were to be full by COB Friday.
I've added this update to my story about the ongoing torture of SNAP recipients:

This is just not true. The Trump administration has been cancelling nearly-done solar and wind projects approved by local regulators, constricting the supply of electricity
Pressed by Stephanopoulos on the fact that electricity prices have in fact gone up, Bessent punts: "Electricity prices are a state problem ... look, there are things the federal government can control. Local electricity prices are not one of them."

I read a lot of maga comments online (for work, not because I'm a masochist) and I will tell you that within the next few days, maga will believe that this $2000 dividend idea is policy.

But also, aren't these people against "government handouts"?
A $2000 tariff “dividend” would be negative for bonds — if the bond market actually believed it would ever happen. 🤡
