Watched One Battle After Another last night and while I'm still digesting, my initial impression is that it's a very *responsible* depiction of the leftist revolutionary. Ready for violence but distinctly non-violent, loosely organized, backed by an extensive support network, no lone wolf shit, etc

My sense is that the “male loneliness crisis” is not really about addressing men’s emotional needs but rather the relatively newfound absence of having someone to perform domestic labor for you quietly in the background now that there is a longer gap between your mother and your wife doing it

The "male loneliness epidemic" is better described as "becoming a patriarchal Man™ is no longer being rewarded" problem. To be clear here, I am not saying that becoming such a man needs to be rewarded, but it's just obsolete with the economic independence women enjoy.
