I foster kittens, play video games, sometimes draw, sometimes bake, sometimes go adventuring. The resident animals are 2 dogs (Zadie and Coco) and 2 cats (Mabel and Dipper).

Feeling down? Have some pictures of Coco being an excellent foster sibling.

Hard to tell since they're both white lol. The kitten is lying on their back, looking up at Coco very sweetly.

Why I love my ARNP: she walked in, asked why I was there, then stopped me. "Sorry, I know you're in pain right now but I need you to know you smell really good. Hold on, I need to text myself the lotion you're wearing." (We both have adhd so tangents are a normal/expected part of our visits lol)

Talking to strangers can be good, actually.

Met a guy from Ukraine today. We talked about how pretty this area is and how cool dogs are and Ukraine and Venezuela and politics. It was nice.

Related: the dogs after I get home from going anywhere, no matter how long I was gone

I appreciate that the animals want to cuddle when I'm hurting, but it's hard to shift into a comfortable position when Coco is stretched from sternum to shins and Dipper is on my ankles on one side, and Zadie is tucked behind my knees and Mabel is leaning on my back on the other 😅

A giant five pound box of fiber fill. To put it in perspective, I wanted enough to fill four throw pillows. This is enough for, I don't know, like twenty throw pillows.

Zadie is old and crabby and she's never particularly liked other animals. The only one who can cuddle her is Dipper, and only when she's in the mood. It's very sweet, the two anxious kids bonding in their own way.

My brain likes to play this fun little trick where I dream it's 6 am and I'm like, oh, what a lovely sleep that was. Time to get up and feed the dogs! And then I'm awake and up and feeding the dogs and look at the clock and it's 4 am.

What a prankster my brain is.

Pins for Mabel to steal and run off with, causing a panicky chase through the house with me shrieking at her to drop it even though she's deaf? ✅️

Making stuff is impossible with 4 animals in the house.

I finally have a good picture of how short Coco's legs are lol she's a lab from the neck up and a dachshund from the neck down

Met a new neighbor which was awkward for two reasons. In full goblin mode, I was wearing a dayglo orange hoodie, black bike shorts, purple knee high socks, hiking boots, and a hat with a secret reference to butt plugs.

And two, I was squatting down gathering a bag of Coco poop.

Zadie is sitting on both me and Dipper. Dipper is touching Coco. Everyone is being very sweet.

Yawns are contagious.
