Yes, for sure. It's not that they *aren't* scared. It's that such a fear is a product of an ideological project. A project that gives cops carte blanche to transmute fear into violence, and which convinces people who should love their neighbors to instead fear them enough to excuse those cops.

Final Fantasy UIs can be a bit obtuse, but one of my favorite things to do when starting any game is open the menu, see what my characters have in their inventory and figure out what their deal is. So seeing "protect girls" with almost no context in #FinalFantasyIX was absolutely hilarious!
