This genre of post is nothing but vote suppressing cynicism. There is no better idea offered, no theory of success explained, just Dem Bad in the nattering nabobs of negativity chorus.
Every day, sometimes multiple times if the kids wake me in the night, I get up, read about or watch video of new horrors done by armed federal agents against people just trying to live in this country, and then check to see electeds like Chuck Schumer promising to fix it with body cameras.

1/x OK. First of all, let's explain what AIS is. AIS is an Automatic Identification System for ships. It's like a transponder unit transmitting position, identification and some navigational parameters (course, speed, ...) #maritimenews

This passed unnoticed: New Pew poll finds 64% oppose mass detention of migrants while their cases are decided.

That directly repudiates MAGA. Trumpism treats the release of migrants awaiting hearings as a mortal blow to the nation. The broader public does not. 3/

Once again, Murc’s law is not a constitutional provision:
Schumer's a coward. Shaheen & co. soiled themselves. Yes, yes to all of it. But why don't Murkowski, Tillis, & company even get asked questions? Why do we have zero expectation of them? Journalists don't even bother trying. We have accepted Murc's Law as a constitutional provision. It's maddening.
These 5 people could caucus with the Democrats, giving them a majority & firmly opposing the fascism, any time. It might be nice for an enterprising journalist to ask them why they keep not doing this every day as the crimes & corruption continue & John Thune refuses to fulfill his oath of office.

Yes, by all means, yell at the Democrats. But everyone seems to find excuses why they must be the <only> people getting yelled at, & it’s exhausting. It makes everyone look deeply unserious about actually getting anything done.
Free passes. Every day. Since January 2021. Schumer, Jeffries, & company deserve all the criticism. But they are not the ones who are deciding whether democracy will survive or not. And they haven't been, for years now. This is a truly exhausting feature of the endless National Conversation™️
Mike Johnson. John Thune. Susan Collins. Lisa Murkowski. Total free passes. The GOP, as a political party, & the leaders in charge of Congress, amidst unprecedented corruption & fascist lawbreaking, don't even exist to the people on the NYT op-ed page. They literally are not actors in 🇺🇸 politics.

Again, I know everyone wants to yell at The Democrats & Chuck Schumer & Hakeem Jefferies, but there are 10-25 people in Washington who could literally end all of this tomorrow, & none of them are Democrats, & they continue to get 24/7 free passes for being absolute oath-violating cowards. Focus.
Yes, we’re looking at you, Lisa Murkowski & Susan Collins & Thom Tillis, you absolute oath-violating cowards.

Now, how do you suppose you get more people out of the Republican Stadium and into yours? How will you get newcomers to yours?

I'll give you a moment to sit with your feelings.
