In the short time generative AI has existed, it's been used to create deep fake nudes of innocent people and threaten people's jobs and distort people's perception of reality and exclusively enrich the wealthiest, shittiest assholes. Like... where's the part where this is a net positive on society?

In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

Fuentes then fantasizes about “breeding gulags”: “So just like Hitler imprisoned Gypsies, Jews, communists, you know, all of his political rivals, we have to do the same thing with women… They go to the breeding gulags. The good ones will be liberated. The bad ones will toil in the mines forever.”

‘Imprison all women’ may sound outrageous. But all of the horrors that are routine today started out as some ghoulish guy being allowed to say stuff like this without being beaten with hammers.
Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

NEW: The Republican National Committee (RNC) is urging the U.S. Supreme Court to dramatically restrict mail-in voting nationwide and asking the justices to rule that ballots arriving after Election Day — even if mailed on time under state law — should not be counted.
Republicans ask Supreme Court to block states from counting legally cast mail ballots
If the Court sides with the RNC, millions of voters who depend on mail-in voting could be disenfranchised.

I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

This Epstein drop is HUGE and utterly disgusting. I don’t see how this man is allowed to remain in office. Where are the evangelical leaders, the soccer moms, the folks stocking up on eggs, the farmers, the small business owners.

Decide. Who are you?

Holy shit. Had no idea about Peanut's life after football. Good to see he resigned when he saw what this current administration was planning. A real man.
Being an FBI agent wasn’t a job to former Bear Charles Tillman as much as it was a vocation. He loved the people he worked with and found honor, integrity and nobility in their service. Then came that day last January. My story. www.nytimes.com/athletic/689...

This is not an "investment," it's a bailout.

The wealthiest corporations in the world (Amazon, Oracle, Nvidia, etc) are pumping billions of cash into OpenAI to keep it going and keep its stock price — which they are all heavily invested in — from collapsing.
Sources: Amazon is in talks to invest up to $50B in OpenAI, which is seeking up to $100B in new capital, a round that could value it at as much as $830B (Wall Street Journal)

Young Robert Horry was a phenomenal defender. He was flying all over the court well before he became "Big Shot Rob" once his body started slowing down.
January 29, 1994: Houston's Robert Horry blocks Vern Fleming twice on the same breakaway.

Horry had 10 PTS and Hakeem Olajuwon scored a game-high 27 PTS but the Rockets fell to Indiana, 119-108. Reggie Miller scored 21 PTS to lead seven Pacers in double figures.

Didn't he just say less than 2 weeks ago he would never ask for a trade? I truly can't stand this dude and I've felt this way for years. He's a chump and has been a chump for a long time.
Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready for a new home at the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline or in the offseason as several rival teams make aggressive offers to the Milwaukee Bucks for him, and the franchise is starting to listen, league sources tell ESPN.

These are the reported tentative Democratic demands for funding DHS:

- DHS required to cooperate with state probes
- CBP stays at border
- Warrants for arrests
- IDs, bodycams
- ICE out of churches, schools

NOT ONE OF THOSE THINGS FIXES THE BEHAVIOR BELOW.

ICE in Minneapolis are erasing your rights.

DHS lied. The video tells the truth. Excellent reporting by Antonia Hylton.
