Florence Price showcased! I can’t ! Standing ovation and irony points are to the roof.
Traditions are for the #neujahrskonzert… Incredible conducting this year from Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Cannot remember the last time I enjoyed a conductor so much. Bravo!

I am…confused.
I know archives are suddenly out of style in the humanities again, but when you think about media preservation as a wing of memory research, all of the fine logistics take on more urgency and import.

Seems that many students too are happy for reprieve from what is effectively an injunction to cheat in the blizzard of ads celebrating use of AI to ”increase productivity“ and the repeated reminders their future bosses will expect this from them.
Does anyone else bristle at this framing? WSJ says blue books are “torturing” students with hand cramps, and “nobody likes them.”

Listen, students have been outsourcing everything to AI and cheating their way through college. Blue books should be celebrated as a return to authentic human learning.
They Were Every Student’s Worst Nightmare. Now Blue Books Are Back.
Cheating with ChatGPT has become a huge problem for colleges. The solution is painfully old-school.
