#OTD 80 years ago, students organized a demonstration in Bucharest attended by tens of thousands to support King Mihai I against Petru Groza's pro-communist government. Workers & soldiers responded with violence to disperse the crowd. A dozen were killed & many more were injured.

I served in the Romania Bucharest Mission from 2005 to 2007. A wonderful & challenging experience during which I grew both spiritually & temporally. My mission changed my life because I then directed my historical passion into researching the past of Romania (& Moldova). 🇷🇴 🇲🇩
